Here's a comparison run between an Evo 8 MR vs my car. Same driver on the same night.

Observations

1. MR has got all the basic mods including cams, but still on stock turbo.
2. MR launches well (1.05G's peak acceleration), 20m in 1.871s.
3. Fast century sprint timing (4.427s) with correspondingly low 400m ET (12.63s)
4. MR has the advantage in first 2 gears but my 8 starts to pull level from top of 3rd. From 4th gear onwards my 8 closes in fast. This is apparent from the passing speeds as well.
