Watched Batman Begins with oeyvind this afternoon. It's a straight up action movie, so don't expect any plot twists. Thankful for that in a way since the general trend is action movies taking themselves too seriously e.g. Matrix Reloaded.

Next up would probably be War of the Worlds.

Went over to Kinokuniya and oeyvind was commenting about the exorbitant pricing on the Japanese magazines. With that he pointed to the back of a random car magazine and the Japanese retail price was 98¥, or about 1.50 SGD. The sticker price was 20 SGD.

Bought HyperRev Vol 6 for Evos; I'm happy. :)

Shaun@SG tipped me off about a UK-based TV show called Trigger Happy TV which does live action gags not dissimilar to "Just for Laughs". There is more emphasis on costumes and witty dialogue as compared to other shows where stunts and gadgets feature prominently. Check it out.

Also started using Adium cos Proteus was just not cutting it doing a history search.

Update: It's 1.40 am and there's a fricking lightning storm. Hope it rains hard and heavy.
